Recreational Ballet

  • Students will wear black leotards, black dance skirt, ballet-pink tights and pink leather or canvas (not satin) split-sole ballet shoes.
  • Longer hair is to be put in a bun and/or clipped completely up and off the face and neck.
  • Pony tails are not acceptable for ballet students.
  • For ballet shoes with the ties, tie the strings in a double knot and then cut the strings so that they will stay put and look neat.
  • Or students may opt for the ballet shoes with the crossed elastic.
