HAIR: Hair should be secured neatly and away from the face.
Ballet dancers should arrive with hair prepared appropriately for ballet class.
LEOTARD: Company leotard color is BLACK. All Company dancers should wear a solid black dance leotard. Styles shown are recommendations only.
SHORTS & SKIRTS: Fitted dance shorts may be worn for Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary and other classes when appropriate. Ballet skirts may be worn when approved by the instructor.
UNDERGARMENTS: Undergarments should not be visible under class or performance attire unless they are approved dance undergarments.
JEWELRY: No jewelry during class except small stud earrings.
WARMUPS: Dance warmups may be worn at the beginning of class. Instructors may ask dancers to remove warmups once class is underway.
LABEL EVERYTHING: Please clearly label shoes, leotards, tights, warmups, dance bags, and other belongings with the dancer’s name.
COMPANY BACKUPS: Company dancers should keep an extra pair
of each required performance tight in their competition bag.
