Glide freely across the studio floor in Hanami. This slip-on ballet shoe is made of high quality canvas material that stretches as if you're wearing nothing at all. The split-sole design eliminates bulk in the arch, provides maximum metatarsal protection, and allows the flattest platform to pivot on. No drawstrings erase any worry of the ballet slipper coming undone. Dancers of all calibers swear by this slipper.
These are the most comfortable ballet shoes I’ve ever used. I highly recommend them.
Both my daughters love these! My oldest has been wearing them for four years. They fit her very wide, very odd (in general) foot and help enhance her modest arch. However, they do run terribly small. I would suggest going up 2 sizes and if your foot is wide, definitely get the wide width. If you can’t get the wide width, you may need to go up an extra 1/2 size. I’m not yet sure the necessity of the narrow width. My younger daughter has VERY narrow feet and she’s always just worn the medium width. They definitely aren’t as snug as they could be and as she gets older we might try the narrow.
Beyond how much we love the shoes, DWC is THE BEST! We needed these shoes for a competition. I had ordered two pairs from another company, which were then “lost” (infinitely delayed) by USPS. They would not even attempt to replace the shoes, due to the “current situation with USPS” (aka, COVID-19 overload). Several days before we were supposed to leave, I was desperate and DWC came through for us AGAIN!! They found a pair and shipped them overnight. Their customer service is the BEST.
I needed to replace my ballet slippers and went to DWC. They found the exact shoe I needed in my size and they fit perfectly! Now I can continue my dancing!
Right from the start, I loved how this shoe felt and fit on my foot! It fits like a sock, it is easy to articulate in, and it's very flattering. I also love that it comes with pre-sewn elastics, which means you can start using them immediately! Just a warning that the shoe runs small, so be prepared to get a size 1.5 - 2 sizes up from your normal street shoe size.
The other brand we tried on in the same size and style were too tight. This brand fit better on the top without being painful.
