Steel resonance plates between tap and outsole create optimum depth and pitch of sound. Specially developed metal bonding procedures ensure that screws will not loosen without modification. Heel measures 1.5". Separate slip pad included with Bloch women's tap shoes.

Best tap shoes ever

It's the most comfortable pair and best sounding tap shoes I've ever owned. I'm an 8.5 (US street shoe size)and bought one size up and they fit perfectly(I always wear w socks)! Kudos to DWC for great customer service.
