Suffolk’s 36-yard Bolt of Elastic is woven elastic that has a high quality look and feel, which is the best for sewing pointe shoes. The 1 inch wide woven elastic is made from dense interlocking threads that produce a premium product. Our elastic can be identified by the crosswise and parallel ribs that create a windowpane effect. Premium woven elastic does not narrow and cannot be seen through when stretched. However, it is easily stitched through without affecting the integrity of the elastic. Woven elastic also resists curling and is the softest elastic made. The elastic solidly secures the shoe to the foot of the dancer. Elastic is also available in a single set.
