Rubin Russian Pointe Shoe

Rubin

Size Guide

The Rubin Russian Ballet Pointe Shoes (Russian for "ruby") have wide toe platforms and low crowns. This model has a pre-arched shape that mimics the shape of the foot on pointe, enhancing longevity while minimizing break-in. Dancers with high arches will experience decreased pressure on the front of the foot. Dancers with very low arches will find it easier to reach full pointe thanks to these pre-arched pointe shoes.

Note: Ribbons not included with this pair of Russian Rubin pointe shoes. We do carry a light pink ballet ribbon that can be used with all Russian pointe shoe styles.

Best pointe shoes

My Granddaughter has tried several different pointe shoes, over the past 2 years, these are by far, her favorite!

Best pointe shoes ever.

I have had many problems with pointe shoes over the years, due to my 'weird' feet. They're really wide in the metatarsal area, narrower in the heel, and I have a very low arch. I've tried countless kinds of Bloch shoes, Gaynor Mindens, and some Grishkos, and while most have been okay, none have been great.

I am so in love with the Rubins. They fit my foot almost perfectly (the heel is a little too big, but that's easily fixed with the GM heel grippers), and I feel like my pointe work has improved so much, because I have a pair of shoes which works with my feet.

And, as a lovely bonus, the pre-arched construction fits my arch better than any other pre-arched shoe I've tried. Although my feet will never be classically ballerina-beautiful, the Rubins show them off, and make them look pretty decent.
