Established in 1996, this family owned and operated business began serving the Central Florida area dance community. In 2012 the DanceWear Corner expanded into the nearly 10,000 square foot facility with over a 3,000 square foot dancewear showroom located in the heart of Orlando, Florida. This DWC facility is one of the largest dancewear facilities in the country. Be sure to visit when you’re in town! Until then, enjoy shopping with us online.

What's the difference between your Retail location and the website?
Our customers often ask about the difference between our retail location and our online store. Our physical store in Orlando is intended for local customers or those visiting the area who prefer to shop in person, and we offer the same great selection of dancewear available on our website.
Furthermore, our staff is dedicated to providing personal and professional assistance to every customer we serve, making sure that they find the right products to fit their needs.
What's more, the prices are consistent both in-store and online, so you can get excellent value no matter how you choose to shop. Do you offer delivery protection?
We’ve partnered with Route—a package protection and tracking solution—to give our customers the best possible delivery experience. Route provides low-cost shipping protection to protect your package in the event that it gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. Route is also a mobile app that allows you to visually track all of your online orders in one place. No need to dig through your email for tracking numbers. Route’s dynamic maps and real-time shipping updates keep you in the loop throughout every part of your delivery. The Route app is available on Android and Apple app stores. If you experienced an issue with your order, please file a claim with Route’s team here.

Can I bring my Internet order into the Retail store for Returns or Exchanges?
Yes. Our Retail location has access to your Payment or Order information. For a smoother transaction, please contact Customer Service prior or refer to our Return/Exchange policy for more information.

Are Tights, Undergarments, Clearance/Blowout/Closeout items a Final Sale?
Yes. When purchasing tights & undergarments, please ensure you are comfortable with your sizing as per obvious health concerns, we cannot take back and resell tights that have been opened and or worn (Eww...). Regarding Closeout/Blowout/ Clearance items etc.... You should factor into your purchasing decision the possibility that something may not fit or work for you. The fact that these items are significantly low priced should help ease your sense of risk. Perhaps you should donate them if you do not like them.

Can I keep my free items with purchases promotions if I return the item(s) I bought?
When taking advantage of free items with certain promotional offers, if you return items from that qualifying order and it brings you below the original threshold to receive the free item you will be charged for that item or it will be deducted from you refund unless the free item is returned in its unused, original condition with the tags intact.

What does it mean if my item is on back order?
When an item is not available from the manufacturer at the time of order, it is placed on back order. If you have ordered multiple items, we will ship the in-stock items right away, and any back-ordered items will ship separately, at no extra cost, except for international shipments. DWC will get in touch with you to provide the estimated ship date based on the manufacturer's information. It usually takes from 2 to 8 weeks for delivery once the item is back in stock.
You have the option to keep the order active or cancel it after receiving the estimated ship date. If you decide to cancel, you can do so at any time before the item is shipped.
Note that International shipments will ship complete as soon as all stock arrives.

What is a To-Order Item?
Any item that you see the words “TO-ORDER” next to the color or size means that the item is not in stock. It will be ordered from the manufacturer and will ship to you in 1-12 weeks. You may still choose expedited shipping to receive the item quickly after it is shipped to us. PLEASE NOTE: TO-ORDER sales are final.
If you need an item by a certain date, please e-mail or call us. We will be able to better advise you on shipping options based on the manufacturer’s ship date.

What are DWC Custom items?
All Custom DWC products are printed only on demand. We do not mass produce products to reduce waste and to ensure that we can maintain a zero waste production system. With these items we put the environment first! These items are a final sale and we suggest gifting the item to someone who would appreciate it should you decide not to keep and use it. Obviously, if any items are defective we will stand behind them and ensure you get a replacement at no cost to you.

How many times can I use a coupon or promo code?
Coupon codes are intended for single use only and cannot be combined or stacked. Volume discounts are considered Coupon codes and cannot be combined or stacked with other codes or discounts. Coupon codes are for Online orders only and do not apply to our retail location. If you are attempting a coupon code and it does not work, it has probably expired or fake. Often, sites like Retailmenot and other promo code sites share false codes. If you try to use one of those and they don't work, don't be mad at us, leave feedback on their sites so others don't get duped. :) If you really want legit offers, be sure to sign up for one of our mailing list.

Do you charge sales tax?
Because DWC is based in Florida, we only charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped to Florida addresses. Your local Florida rate will apply. Orders shipped outside the state of Florida are not charged sales tax. (This is subject to change!)

Can I use a Tax Exempt form?
Yes, if you are in the State of Florida, you may apply a tax exempt form. Please ensure that that the tax exempts organization or name is used in the billing information during checkout. Please annotate in the notes section of your order that you are a tax exempt organization and would like us to apply the tax exemption. This will only be applied once we receive your tax exempt form. Please email it to orders@dancewearcorner.com with the order number referenced.

What are your gift certificate policies?
Gift Cards purchased online are sent by email only, and can be used at our retail location (including DWC booths or other temporary locations at dance conferences, trade shows, etc.).
Not redeemable for cash; cannot be returned for a refund.
Any unused balance will be available to use again on the same Gift Card code.
If your total order is more than the amount of your Gift Card, you will need to pay the balance with a credit card.

How do I purchase a Gift Card?
After purchasing your Gift card, you will receive an email with a link to your new Gift card where you will be able to print or email it.

What if I have money left on my Gift Card after my purchase?
Upon entering your Gift Card number, it will show you the remaining balance that can still be used on future purchases.

Can I buy something that costs more or less than the Gift Card amount?
Yes. If your order total is less than the amount on your Gift Card, the remaining amount will be available on your card for future purchases. If your order total is more, you will need to pay for the balance with additional payment information.

Why can’t I order a catalog?
Really? DWC is an eco-friendly company that strives to protect the environment. Our Web site is updated as we add new items, so visiting here frequently is the best way to keep up with the very latest styles.
Volume discounts
In an effort to help reduce the cost for the dancer, we offer volume discounted options for select products and collections. These discounts are equivalent to coupon/promo codes and cannot be combined or stacked. Volume discounts are for use on a singular variant of a product for dancers who know what they need to replenish them often. Example"A specific pointe shoe with specific specs). Not for sizing or trying out different models etc....
Stock Availability
Does the website show stock availability? We are currently in the process of enhancing our inventory data by incorporating the latest updates from our trusted dance manufacturers. This meticulous effort is aimed at providing you with the most accurate and up-to-date information available. By diligently updating our inventory data, we strive to ensure that you have access to the best and most reliable information regarding our product offerings. Your satisfaction and confidence in our inventory are our top priorities, and we are committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of your shopping experience.

Example of Stock Availability
If I am able to put a product into my cart and place an order, does that mean the product is in stock and will ship out right away? Nope.
We make every attempt to stock the 1000's of sku's in our warehouse along with our retail location and combine that with our manufacturers warehouses but inevitably, products are put on backorder or the manufacturers simply sell out. It kind of stinks, but it happens. DWC will make every attempt to keep you posted on the status of your order and you are always able to cancel anything you need to before your items are shipped.
If you are a newbie to the Dancewear world, a backorder is when the actual maker of the dance product has run out of the item you really need and want and waited until the last minute to order. You see, Dancewear Corner is a dance detailer of dance wear and dance accessories. We don't make the dance stuff, we sell the dance stuff and if those who make it are out, we cannot magically make the item appear, if we could then we would be magicians not retailers and would probably just make money appear instead of dance stuff and be on some tropical island relaxing with a nice cool beverage.
Payment Information
For security, your billing name, address and phone number must match the information that appears on your credit card monthly billing statement. If the information does not match it may result in unnecessary "authorization holds" on your credit card or debit card.
An important note about debit and credit card transactions:
Your credit or debit card will be charged upon placing your order. Your debit or credit card statement may show what looks like a double deduction from your account. Please note, This is known as an "authorization hold" and typically lasts from 3-7 days for debit card transactions depending upon the policy of your bank.

What if I make a return on a purchase made through Installments with Shop Pay?

(Just because you think it should get there in time, it might not and while we are discussing expectations, please understand that you cannot count the day you ordered as one of the days. That order will still need to be processed and put in motion. I mean, I think everything should always be in stock and sent same day and heck, it all should be free but unfortunately, the dance world is crazy, shipping cost are crazy and we have too many bills to pay. There is a reason Payless is out of business.....)
