Features

  • The shank is designed to be flexible, supportive 'en pointe', and durable which makes it an ideal shoe for both rehearsal and performance. The medium strength shank promotes foot articulation and can help the dancer achieve demi-pointe.
  • The flat pleating under the box creates a smooth surface and greater stability when running, walking, or standing flat.
  • The cupped heel shape incorporates a heel counter. This provides the dancer with a feeling of security and assists in maintaining the shape of the shoe in both the standing and on pointe.

    Good Quality Shoes and Excellent Customer Service

    I ordered 5 pairs of Bloch “Heritage” Pointe Shoes, and they arrived in perfect condition. They were nicely packed, with no noticeable defects. The shoes work, but I’m not sure they are “my shoe”. They have a medium vamp with nice wings, and a pretty durable shank. My box always dies before my shank, so I usually Jet Glue my box after a few wears. My only complaint about the “Heritage” model is that the wings soften very quickly, so they don’t offer proper support for very long. I also have a size that isn’t usually in stock, but DWC sent me emails on the status of my order every step of the way! DWC has an amazing customer service team, and they answered all of my questions and concerns regarding my order. I highly recommend shopping with DWC!!!

    Great shoe

    As an adult beginner (re-learning after many years), I find the newer features such as the added padding inside the platform and the soft suede insole a great advantage. This model provides a good fit for my low/med arch and Egyptian toes. It is strong and supportive but still easy to break in. Overall a great shoe!
