So Danca CH02 Adult 1.25" Sueded Character Shoe is a great basic buckle strap character shoe. Features include comfortable cushion lining, leather upper, 1.25" heel, and a flexible suede sole which provides added traction and is excellent for spins.

Fitting Guidelines:

This shoe tends to run small. Ladies typically order 1/2 size up from regular street shoe size. For wider feet or a more comfortable fit, going up one whole size may work.  

To convert from children to adults, add 2 sizes before following sizing recommendations. Example: Childs size 4 should translate to Adult 6, then follow recommended sizing for the Adult size.

Exactly what I needed!

I ordered a half size bigger as suggested and they are the perfect fit! The buckle is a tad stiff making quick changes difficult but nothing that can’t be worked around. They are also comfortable for dancing on a concrete surface.

Great shoe!

I've bought this shoe, in various colors, on a number of occasions. My favorite is the Caramel color because it looks nice with various outfits. I purchase one full size larger (9.5, medium width) than my street shoe size (8.5) in order to fit my custom orthotics and gel pads in the ball of the foot area. These shoes offer stability and flexiblity - bends in the toe box area; yet, also has stability so my foot feels supported. I like the suede bottoms so I slide on the floor in a soft and controlled fashion. The heel is a great height to look feminine; yet, not so high to put so much pressure on the balls of my feet. These are a great shoe for folks who have foot pain and yet want to look feminine on the dance floor. One might need to add extra cushion in the insole area, but it's doable. The 9.5 size is a bit tight when they are new for me; however, they will stretch. And already have after wearing them for a couple of hours. These are really a great shoe if you want to be on the dance floor for an extended amount of time!

Really tight

Wow, it’s really true that these run painfully small. I do have wide feet so when I exchange I will try a whole size larger than my regular size.

Pretty and Comfortable too!!

I ordered 2 pairs of character dance shoes, one in black and the other in camel color. I was told to order a half size larger than my street shoes, which I did, and was happy with the decision. The shoes fit perfectly! I've always loved this style shoe since I was a teenager, so to be able to use them again as a senior adult, I'm over the moon happy! The style is classic and the heel size of 1.25 inches is perfect for my aging feet. I'm very pleased with the purchases I made for these shoes.
