So I purchased these as a step up for my daughter who dances in many theater shows. She loves them! For her, it ran true to size. I originally purchased a 7.5 after reading reviews to go up a full size, but I ended up returning and the 6.5 (her normal size) works great. She does not have a narrow or wide foot, and the the medium worked perfectly. We went ahead and bought another pair in tan so she would have both colors to pull from.
