I always have at least a pair of spare elastics and ribbons in my sewing bag and as soon as these arrived they were desperately needed - the ribbon on my Grishkos fell apart, and RP came to help! It's very robust and stable, but also elastic enough not to leave marks after taking the shoes off despite providing perfect hold. Also fit wonderfully in colour, not only on RP Pointes!

No More Plain Satin Ribbons.... Ever!

When I bought my Russian Pointe Rubies, I got these to go with them, primarily because of the color, but wow!! I fell in love with them. No more unsightly marks left on my ankles from tugging. Even better, they don't tug the satin on the SHOE, leaving stretched out places where plain they're sewn. :( Best of all: No more pressure on my Achilles tendon! They are also beautiful in color, and not too shiny as to overshadow the beauty of the shoe itself.

What I really love is that the whole ribbon is stretchy, and there is no ugly "X" around the ankle - I never could get past that. Now I don't have to!

I have a couple of spare pairs now. :) Thanks to Russian Pointe for yet another beautiful AND functional innovation, and thanks to DanceWear Corner for carrying them! ;)
