So Danca CH09 1" Buckle Strap Character Heel

I was very happy to see a low-heeled dance character shoe. I took the advice online and ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. They make my feet look and feel pretty! My only complaint is the Buckle is a little difficult to adjust.

I've bought dozens of these for my dance students over the past few years. I'm a fan in general. The price is right, but quality is decent, they run true to size, and finding character shoes with a low heel is not easy! So, 4 stars for that.

Here are my caveats, after several years of use by many girls - Thy don't last forever. I've worn mine for 6+ years, and the heels are falling off. If they get scuffed, it's very obvious that they're man-made leather. We've had multiple issues with the elastic or the buckles breaking. We've also ordered wides and discovered that the wide isn't actually any wider than the regular, they just have a longer strap. Not good for people with actual wide feet! I can't wear the most recent wides I bought, my feet literally don't fit inside. This wasn't a problem when I started ordering these 6+ years ago, but is now.

The last time I ordered these, 2019, there were also many stock issues with certain sizes, across all suppliers. That was disappointing! But we'll be back for more as soon as our classes can reopen.

The toe box seems a little tight so I will go to my shoemaker and have him stretch it a bit. I'm sure it will be fine.
