Meet The Staff: Emily
Emily has been working here at Dancewear Corner for about nine months. She is a sales floor associate and pointe shoe fitter.
Favorite memory while working here?
It would be Halloween, where we all got to dress up and take lots of funny pictures. It was a lot of fun!
What type of dance did/do you do?
Right now, I do ballet. I dance it professionally here in Orlando.
How much dance experience do you have?
My parents put me in dance when I was 2 ½ years old. Then I tried all the different types of dancing, but I’ve stuck with ballet. So it’s been a while.
What’s a fun fact about yourself?
I’m a triple Gemini!
What’s your favorite color?
My favorite color is blue - I really like sky blue. I also like a nice periwinkle. It’s always between blue and purple, but purple is my second.
What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
I’m good at scrabble.
What’s your favorite music genre?
Anything but country music!
How do you relax after a long day of work?
After work, I like to go home. I usually make dinner and play with my cat. Sometimes we watch the bachelorette and do puzzles together.
