Narrow/Highly Tapered Toe Box

I wear a size 6.5/7. I ordered these shoes in a 7.5 wide and the toe box is too narrow and tapered. I have an athletic foot with a narrow heel, high arch, and five toes that don’t taper excessively. Super disappointed that these don’t fit. Foot health is critical if you want to keep dancing and moving. I wish shoe companies made shoes that didn’t damage our feet. I am trying the size 8 and hoping it isn’t too long. I recently found a pair of open toe salsa shoes with adjustable straps. I wish this wasn’t necessary and that there were better closed toe shoe options.
