Elektra is revolutionizing the industry with a new pointe shoe option that has never been seen before and is a true reinvention of the traditional pointe shoe.

THE RING Support is achieved through the innovative design of THE RING. This feature provides strength in just the right places yet allows for mobility through the demi-pointe.

CUSTOMIZE Shanks are customizable for each dancer. By interchanging, dancers can have different strengths and lengths on each foot; no one foot is the same and this ensures a perfect fit.

INJURY PREVENTION Revolutionary architecture creates a safer environ-ment for dancer’s feet. Stability through the box created by THE RING and support under the arch from the customizable shanks give dancers their best chance at success.


In the 19th century we were introduced to the paper maché pointe shoe, most commonly made with burlap, newspapers and glue. Moving into the 20th century the dance industry was presented with a monoblock, thermoplastic elastomeric shank and box.
