I call myself a size 9.25 because typically I wear a size 9 but sometimes go up to the half. I decided to purchase a 9.5 and had to size up to the 10 and then the 10.5 (which are a touch big...I added a heel grip). My only complaint is that the part that goes over the toe is cut longer and pointier than I would prefer and it digs into the top of my foot. I am a bit worried that it is putting pressure on my metatarsals but I think it will loosen with time and breaking in. A wide shoe option may have dealt with that so maybe that can be added in the future. All-in-all, I am happy with the quality
The appearance of these heels is absolutely perfect! There are two things I would warn others about, however.
1. The heels are closer to 2 1/2" than to 2". I've gotten used to them, but they were difficult to dance in at first.
2. The toes are pointed up significantly enough that it takes a lot of work to get the taps to sound, and to break in the shoes.
Despite these challenges, I would probably consider purchasing these shoes again once this pair wears out, but these challenges might be difficult for some to overcome.
Everything was done to perfection! Thanks
The t-strap tap shoe is a beautiful shoe and fits great. I did go up a half size, but it is very comfortable. The t-strap tap shoe is hard to find, so I highly recommend this shoe. Fast service too!
I haven't danced in the shoes yet, but they were comfortable trying on and they look great. I'm a 7.5 so I got an 8.5 as everyone said to go a full size up, but they were a little big for me. I exchanged them for an 8. Hopefully they won't be too small now; I'll let ya'll know.
