The Classic Fit is Gaynor Minden's original "U" shape: the metatarsal, mid-foot, and heel are generously cut.

Gaynor Minden's new European factory is now making pointe shoes for dancers worldwide — including North America! American innovation meets European craftsmanship.

The new satin used to create these amazing shoes is sourced in Italy. It is a paler shade of pink and has a slightly matte finish, which looks beautiful on stage. Suede tips are now standard on each pair, providing dancers with excellent stability on both Marley and Wood Floors. Plus, they're more durable than satin, helping your shoes last even longer!

Important fitting tip:
If you have not tried the new European Models, we recommend an in-person fitting. The new Italian Satin is slightly stiffer, offering a more supported fit that can feel snugger than the US-Made Shoes.

Dancers going from the US-Made models may benefit from a lighter shank option and a change in Gaynor Styles or size to achieve the perfect fit.

Excellent customer service

When the shoes arrived, we didn’t open them for two months because my daughter had an injury. When we opened them there was a slight defect in the seam. I reached out and even though we purchased them two months earlier, they allowed the exchange. They were great to work with. They were very responsive and transparent. They told us the replacement was back ordered and offered other options. We decided to wait for the shoe my daughter prefers and they arrived a few weeks later as promised.

Excellent customer service.

These improve my dancing and make my feet look really great. The shoes are so comfortable I don't use any padding, compared to using toe pads in all my other shoes.
I had a professional fitting to get the right box and size, and now can reorder with confidence. I went up in shank stiffness, after starting with the lowest level in my last pair, we'll see how these do. Shoes lasted me about 6 months of 4 days a week use (3 days of 30 min and 1 day at 1 1/2 hours use)
DWC got these to me incredibly fast and included elastic for free.
